2021年1月23日(土)に防災リスク管理コースで2020年度第2回特別セミナー『東日本大震災から10年，私たちは何を考え，何をすべきか』がオンライン(zoom)で開催されました。建築学専攻，土木工学専攻の教員等12名が参加して，３つのテーマ，「構造工学の観点から何を考えるか」，「災害科学の観点から何を考えるか」，「計画，社会工学の観点から何を考えるか」について，5分間の講演の後，熱いディスカッションを繰り広げました。(写真1)。また，東京大学の羽藤英二教授による特別講演が行われ，2011年東日本大震災以降に被災地で精力的に実施している復興支援事業，全国に展開している復興デザイン教育などが紹介されました。
On January 23, 2021, the second special seminar of fiscal year 2020, “Ten Years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, What Should We Think and What Should We Do?” was held online. Twelve faculty members from the Department of Architecture and the Department of Civil Engineering participated in the seminar, which consisted of three themes: “What should we think about from the perspective of structural engineering”, “What should we think about from the perspective of disaster science”, and “What should we think about from the perspective of planning and social engineering? The five-minute lecture was followed by a heated discussion (as shown in Photo 1). In addition, Professor Eiji Hato of the University of Tokyo gave a special lecture, in which he introduced the reconstruction support projects that he has been vigorously implementing in the affected areas, and the reconstruction design education that he has been developing nationwide.
