本学理工学部 建築学科3年 穂積 佑亮さんが、Mars City Design Challenges 2019において、ファイナリストに選出されました。
「Mars City Design Challenges」は2016年から開催されている火星に都市を設計する国際コンペティションで、「火星のスポーツ」がテーマとなった今年は、様々なチームが趣向を凝らしたアイデアを提案、アメリカテキサス州ヒューストンにてNASAの施設などで、プレゼンテーションを行いました。
穂積さんらのチームは、「火星の厳しい気象条件を活かした雪合戦が可能なスタジアム設計」について提案し、見事ファイナリストに選出されました。

3rd year student, Yusuke Hozumi , Was Selected As A Finalist For Mars City Design Challengers 2019
“Mars City Design Challenge” is an international competition which has been held since 2016 and the content is they design the city at Mars. Lots of teams proposed the elaborately planned ideas for this year’s theme, “The sports at Mars”, and had a presentation at the NASA facilities Houston Texas state USA.
The Hozumi’s team proposed the design of stadium which can be capable of snowball fights taking advantage of Mars’ severe weather conditions and they was selected as a finalist.
