兼松研究室の西尾悠平助教が前田記念工学振興財団において令和元年度山田一宇賞を受賞しました。
西尾助教の博士論文は「わが国における基礎研究の振興並びに若手研究者の育成を目的とし、新規性・独創性に富み、将来有用性が期待できる」と前田記念工学振興財団によって評価され，山田一宇賞が授与されました。

受賞題目：ファサード型火災実験を用いた可燃性外装材の燃え拡がり性状及び評価基準に関する研究
受賞理由：本研究は、近年諸外国において多発した高層建築物での可燃性外装の燃え拡がり火災に対し、可燃性外装材の使用について十分な防火安全性の確保が行える規制基準がない状態の我が国の現状に鑑みて、可燃性外装を用いた場合の燃え拡がりによる上階への延焼、上層階屋内への延焼などを抑制して防火安全性を確保する手法を、膨大な試験体を用いた燃え拡がり試験を実施して提案したものである。よって、研究の独創性、新規性、実際の設計・施工への即実的な貢献を考慮し、前田記念工学振興財団山田一宇賞にふさわしいものとして推挙された。

Doctoral Thesis was evaluated “with the aim of promoting basic research and fostering young researchers in Japan, it is rich in novelty and originality, expected to be useful in the future.” by Maeda Engineering Foundation and received Yamada Kazuie Award.

Title :Study on the spreading properties and evaluation criteria of flammable exterior materials using type fire experiment.
Reason for Award :This study is the current situation of Japan in the state that there is no regulatory standard that can secure sufficient fire safety for the use of flammable exterior material against the spread of flammable exterior fire in high-rise buildings frequently occurred in may foreign countries in recent years. In view of the above, the method of securing fire safety by suppressing the spread of fire to the upper floor and the spread of fire to the upper floor indoors by the spread of fire when using a flammable been proposed by conduction the test. Therefore, taking into construction, it was selected as the one suitable for the Maeda Memorial Technology Promotion Foundation Yamada Kazuie Prize.
