安原研究室では、『３度の飯より建築が好き』をモットーに建築を学んでいます。所属する一人一人が、自分の考えを自分らしく建築や空間、デザインとして表現する事に日々取り組んでいます。
研究室の活動として、研究室全体で実施のコンペに挑戦したり、建築学会の小委員会への参加、『建築トークイン上越』への参加などがあります。
学部４年生が取り組む卒業論文では海外調査をしており、今までに、ブラジル、インド、中国、メキシコなどで建築やパブリックスペースを調査しています。
定期的に、納会をしたり、バレーやサッカーなど体を動かしたりとイベントも多い研究室です。ゼミ旅行では様々な建築を見に行きます。

Welcome to Yasuhara Lab!
Yasuhara Lab, led by associate professor Motoki Yasuhara and assistant professor, Atsuo Arii is an architectural design lab. The motto of Yasuhara Lab is “Architecture is our meat and drink”. Each one of us practices how to express our individual thoughts and ideas as architectural and space designs.
Each year we hold a competition within the lab for each student to participate, attend meetings at the Architectural Institute of Japan, and we also have our “Architectural Talk-in Joetsu” project.
Students also go abroad for field research as a part of their graduation thesis. In the past students have studied architecture and public spaces in Brazil, India, China and Mexico.
We regularly hold events such as volleyball and soccer tournaments and an end-of-year study trip. On our study trip we visit various kinds of architecture.
