5月31日の第7回目のワンアジア講演では、インドネシア・Pelita Harapan大学のDavid Hutama教授が「デジタル時代における伝統建築技術の未来」について話されました。
国内に存在する数多くの伝統建築の事例を紹介するとともに、職人が手作業で建築を作り出す過程からの変化の先に今日のアルゴリズムによる形の生成があり、それ故に学生の３DCADなどのデジタルツールの習得の重要性を説明されました。
Prof. David Hutama, from Pelita Harapan Univ. Indonesia, gave a lecture entitled “The Future of Craftsmanship in Traditional Building in Indonesia in the Digital Age” as the 7th presentation of the One Asia Project on May 31.
He showed many examples of traditional architecture in Indonesia. He said that the way of making has changed from handmade to mechanical and digital using algorithms, so it’s very important for students to develop digital technology skills.
