吉澤研究室は、吉澤望教授のもと、建築環境・設備の分野を研究しています。
その中でも特に「光・照明」を扱った研究をしています。 研究内容を大きく4つに分類すると「建築の見え・現象」「照明計画」「省エネ性能・新光源の活用」「照明デザインツールの開発」です。
建築における光とは、意匠においては空間を印象づける因子でもあり、また設備においては省エネ性など環境の点からも注目されている要因です。
そういった背景を踏まえ、本研究室では、様々なアプローチで光・照明に関する研究を進めています。

Yoshizawa Lab is a building environment lab with a particular focus on architectural daylighting and lighting environments led by Professor Nozomu Yoshizawa.
Yoshizawa Lab’s research falls under for main categories; “building appearance / perception”, “lighting planning”, “energy saving performance / use of new light sources”, and “development of lighting design tools”.
Light in architecture is an important factor that influences the appearance and perception of space as well as being an important consideration in energy use and the development of low-energy facilities.
With this in mind, Yoshizawa Lab adopts a wide range of approaches in it’s research on light and lighting.
